The 951 padlock is the newest heavy duty padlock from Sargent and Greenleaf.   It features a more refined casting and heavier anti drill reinforcements to make it a stronger successor to the popular S&G 833C padlock. The S&G 951C is made up of proprietary alloys in the padlock body and shackle that give it extreme resistance to physical attacks.  The body also has ceramic inserts which greatly reduce the ability to attack the padlock with a grinder.  Its raised shoulders make attacking the shackle very hard when properly installed.  It features a quick change breakdown function using the change key.  It is the only lock(other than the 833C padlock) that is meant to resist physical attack from even prolonged liquid nitrogen attacks.  When the change key is inserted and turned, the body comes apart in two pieces allowing for access to the cylinder for replacement as needed. Below are the technical details (exact measurements given in mm):

• 15/32" (12mm) thick shackle
• 27/32" (21mm) wide shackle clearance
• 13/16" (20mm) tall shackle clearance 

This item is new in box.   It features two operator keys and one change key.

The S&G 951C padlock features a Medeco core, these cores do have some vulnerabilities from a security perspective.   Depending on the application another padlock may be a better fit, please contact us for additional details.  Some government and contract jobs require the S&G 951C padlock, we keep many of these locks in stock(on site not 'in stock with supplier') and can ship overnight as needed.
